Enjoy Japanese culture at Sakai Plaza of Rikyu and Akiko!
There are plenty of events for the whole family to enjoy, including trying on traditional Japanese clothing, experiencing samurai and ninja roles, and even a tea ceremony.
There will also be a performance show by period drama actors and sales of Japanese sweets and miscellaneous goods!

❖ Kimono experience
You can try on Japanese clothing and take commemorative photos!

Learn sword fighting from period drama actors and become a samurai!

In addition to Japanese goods such as incense, kimono key chains, and amulet bags, we will also be selling delicious spring-like "chirashi sushi"!

We sell fresh local vegetables grown in Senshu as well as other Japanese foods!
❖Maruichi Confectionery Shop (Open only on March 29th))
Since its founding in 1895, the shop has created a variety of famous sweets associated with Sen no Rikyu!
We sell delicious Japanese sweets!
Food menus will be available from food trucks, and there will also be a great souvenir shop inside Sakai Plaza of Rikyu and Akiko!
