These are the words of the 95th chapter of the "Blue Rock Records" by Yuanwu Keqin, a monk from the Northern Song Dynasty in China:
It is very commonly used as a hanging scroll in the tea ceremony.

These words are found in the 19th chapter of "Mumonkan" by Mumon Huikai, a monk from the Southern Song Dynasty in China.
"Being true to yourself": How you behave in your daily life is important,
This story teaches that in Buddhism, this mindset leads to the path to enlightenment.
