A Cup of Tea ~An authentic tea ceremony experience in the hometown of Sen no Rikyu~

This special tea ceremony experience takes place in a tea room named after the head of the Sansen school, where you will enjoy a kaiseki-style meal and two types of matcha, thick and thin, prepared by a tea master.

Participants will receive a tea fan, a kaishi paper, and a special furoshiki cloth with a Sakai-style design.

After passing through the teahouse from the waiting area, you will enter the teahouse "Muichian" associated with Sen no Rikyu through the nijiriguchi entrance.

There is also an option to enjoy tea (additional fee required, limited to groups of 5 or less).

【Time】

Any two hours between 11:00 and 16:30

[Contents]

You will enjoy a kaiseki-style bento (with sake and a bowl of simmered food) and fresh sweets in the tea room.

After a short break, you will enjoy thick tea and thin tea (with dried sweets) in the same tea room or in "Muichian," a tea room associated with Rikyu (paid option; on fine weather you will pass through the garden).

For both reductions in the number of participants and cancellations, full cancellation fees will be charged if made 3 days or more prior to the tour date.
