The exhibition traces the life-changing experience of Akiko Yosano and her husband Hiroshi in 1912, when they traveled to Europe, through mementos such as their co-authored travelogue "From Paris" and Hiroshi's diary. Of particular note are materials being shown for the first time, such as Hiroshi's diary, a portrait of the two of them published in a French magazine, and a letter sent to Hiroshi by Auguste Rodin, whom they met in Paris.

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Yosano Tekkan (real name Hiroshi), this exhibition will introduce his lesser-known achievements and the lifelong pursuit and passion for literature he maintained. Additionally, with the special cooperation of the Watanabe family, the exhibition will also feature a number of valuable documents left behind by Tekkan's disciple and friend, Watanabe Kohan (1886-1960), a businessman from Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture.

The exhibition features a letter (on public display for the first time) addressed to Furusawa Kokichi, an employee of South Manchuria Railway who acted as caretaker for the Yosano couple, as well as the travel poetry collection Manmō Yūki, co-authored by Akiko and Hiroshi, and a guide map by artist Yoshida Hatsusaburo.
