  • The special exhibition room is a facility primarily for the purpose of exhibiting artworks and cultural assets, so there are restrictions on its use.
  • If you are entering only the special exhibition room for the purpose of setting up a rental room or during an event, you will not be charged the permanent exhibition viewing fee.
    However, the organizers may set separate admission fees, etc.

Rules for renting rooms

Reception start date

To make a reservation, please fill out and submit the designated application form. Applications are accepted from the first day of the month 6 months prior to the date of use (except January, which begins on the 4th).

Usage fees

  • Please settle the room rental fee at the reception desk on the day of use and before the time of use.
  • Already paid usage fees cannot be refunded. However, if you request cancellation of use and the reason is deemed reasonable, the full amount may be refunded.
  • When collecting admission fees or similar fees, or when exhibiting or selling goods or engaging in other profit-making activities, 50% will be added to the basic fee.

Terms of use

  • Please allow time for preparation and cleanup within the usage hours.
  • All or half of the lecture rooms and special exhibition rooms are available for use. All equipment is available for rental at a set fee.
  • We may ask you about the purpose of use, etc., and depending on the content, we may refuse use even after you have applied.
  • To protect the exhibition environment and prevent the intrusion of moisture and insects, there are restrictions on what can be brought into the museum.
  • After use, please return the desks, chairs, and other equipment to their original positions.
  • When using the rental room for an exhibition or other event, the management of exhibits and products is the responsibility of the individual.
  • Please take sufficient safety precautions when arranging exhibits, especially when using equipment such as aerial work platforms. The museum does not assume any responsibility for any damage that may occur during such work.
  • Please treat the building, facilities, equipment, fixtures, etc. with care. If any of these items are damaged or lost during use, you will be responsible for the costs.
  • To prevent accidents, users are requested to guide visitors appropriately to avoid overcrowding.
  • Parking is free for up to 2 hours.

Restrictions and Prohibitions

  • Please refrain from eating or drinking inside the museum (Special Exhibition Room and Tourist Information Exhibition Room).
  • Smoking is prohibited inside the building.
  • The use of firearms, dangerous items, animals (except guide dogs), and items that emit unpleasant odors or loud noises are prohibited within the building.
  • Distributing or posting promotional materials requires prior permission.
  • It is prohibited to stick adhesive tape or drive nails into walls or glass.
  • In accordance with Fire Service Act regulations, admission will not exceed the set capacity.

Cancellation of permission

Permission for use will be revoked in the following cases:
We will not be liable for any damages arising from the revocation of permission.
  • When the right of use is transferred or subleased to another person.
  • When it is deemed to be contrary to the rules of the hotel, public order, and good morals.
  • When it is deemed that there is a risk of damaging or destroying buildings, facilities, equipment, etc.
  • When it is determined that it would be beneficial to the organization and could lead to illegal activities.
  • When the activity is deemed to be in the interest of an organized crime group.
  • When it is deemed inappropriate to use the facility due to a disruption to the management and operation of the facility.
  • When the conduct violates the management and operation regulations of the museum or the instructions of staff.
  • When permission for use is obtained through false pretenses or fraudulent means.
